Blessed byTonya Hurley

The Blessed (The Blessed, #1)
The Cover is so weird...
But weird is my new m.o. so I instantly went..

Summary
From the author of the New York Times bestselling ghostgirl series, the start to a captivating and haunting teen trilogy about three girls who become entangled with an enigmatic boy—a boy who believes he is a saint. What if martyrs and saints lived among us? And what if you were told you were one of them?
Meet Agnes, Cecilia, and Lucy. Three lost girls, each searching for something. But what they find is Beyond Belief.
Think the summary is short ,but it nearly gave the WHOLE plot away!
Plot/Charactors
I will admit, I was a little taken aback when I first started the book. I was like "Wait, where is this boy or when are they going to find out that they are a saint?" The thing is that when you first start it you are like wanting it to be all actiony like bang, bang, bang and this book was the farthest thing from it. The beginning was very slow and since it was told from multiple narratives, I only liked Agnes's. So whenever Lucy's narrative came around I was like
Cuz you expect so much more from the leader and you expect some deep stuff from her ,but she was all whiny and rude and just plain annoying. I barely tolerated Cece. Another thing I didn't really understand besides why Lucy and Cece were chosen as saints, is why everybody was so obsessed with Sebastian. I mean I get that he's hot, tragic past, and romantic ,but come on! The only one who actually seemed to be in a real relationship with him was Agnes. Agnes, was by far, the best character in the book. Back to the story, it was so slow and you kept waiting for everybody to get there stuff together that it sometimes dragged and the only real climax was at the end when the totally (spoiler) beat up/killed those guys. Assassin saints! Hell yeah! But then right when it got juicy it was..

And I was like..

The End
I would give it 3.5 stars because of the annoying, excessive garbage (Lucy) and the very sssslllllloooooowwwww start and the lack of a really good climax (spoiler) unless you can count the time when the finally went down to the chapel.(end of spoiler)
